No, I’ve not started a personals site here. Ha! I’m simply posting up a request I got through the comments. Many of you may have seen it already but I thought I would post it more prominently for better response.

Hi, I found your site and have lurked along the way, but never got around to chiming in. Congrats to all who made it through — or for however far you got, for that matter. Such a wonderful experience! I recently did TAW with another online group. Then started the next book, Walking in this World, afterwards, solo. But stumbled when life transition got in the way, and let it all get away from me. I’m gearing up to start over with that one, WITW, and wondering if this group is interested? Very similar to TAW in structure — weekly chapter, artist dates and MPs, plus weekly walking assignments.
Any interest?
I know that several of us have said we didn’t want to do another Cameron book through the blog right away so I’m not sure that would be an option. However, if anyone IS interested in doing WITW and would like to be put into contact with Beachsoul, let me know. I will send you her email address or vice versa and you can pair up for the WITW journey.
Along those same lines, we are STILL trying to figure what to do with this group from here, now that the twelve weeks are over. Here are some ideas:
- Move to a Yahoo! group so that we can still keep in touch with our creativity projects and such but not follow a book – if so, what to do with the blog?
- Start and complete another book here on the blog – if so, what?
- Stay as a group on the blog and just keep it for creativity projects and such – bear in mind though that the contributors can’t keep it up as we have been indefinitely.
- Other… suggestions welcome!
I think it is pretty unanimous that we don’t want to dis-band and it delights me that we have gotten that close as a group! However, we need to figure out a way to transition now that our TAW time is over so that we can stay focused and give the continued support – in whatever capacity – that we all need.
Whew… I am long-winded.
Lend me your suggestions and anyone who is interested in pairing with Beachsoul, let me know!
Hey everybody!
I did not even know that there WAS a sequel to TAW. I was just about to redo the first book!
So I would LOVE to be a part of WITW with others… I see how it has helped everyone on this blog (I too have been lurking here) and the comradery and support seems invaluable.
So sign me up

i just starting reading this blog & would hate to see it end! Why not just continue on here discussing TAW topics?!
I’ve been thinking about this a bit….a yahoo group would be nice to keep in touch with each other- and just use the blog when we’re ready to work on another book.
The reason I think a group is nice is because the posts can automatically be sent to you and you can see them easier even if you opt just to read them on the web. I’m never sure if there are new posts or not……and it would be easier to respond to specific posts too.
So would we continue to use the same blog – or create a new one with a new book? It’s a lot of work setting up a blog for everyone to use.
Just throwing out some thoughts….which may morph….that’s the beauty of creativity!
Perhaps we could continue to use this blog and do something like CED does and once a week post a short ’so what is everyone up to’ for people to respond to. If you check in once a week, find those who have commented and then respond, check their blog that sort of thing. The facilitator wouldn’t need to do more then that actually. I wouldn’t mind helping to facilitate another AW book if we decide to continue.
I was checking out potential books for us on Amazon by searching under “Creativity” – there were so many – I didn’t know where to begin!
If you’re thinking of another book = some friends of mine are doing the book “How to Think Like Leonardo de Vinci”.
Sounds like there is some interest in Walking in this World. That’s great! I had planned to get started (or re-started) last week, but didn’t. And others will need time to get the book, so perhaps we can target a June 8 start. Will need to figure out logistics. If we can use this site, great! I have no experience with blogs or Yahoo groups, other than as participant, so working with what already exists and anyone else’s experience is a plus. But it sounds like others may have other plans for the site still, and I’m certainly not trying to co-opt it. I’ll give more thought to our options… Meanwhile we can see how much more interest there is.
(BTW, for those who were surprised that there was another Cameron book — there’s also Finding Water, which I plan to do next. And there are others with different formats.)
